Alexandra Calhoun is a graduate of Syracuse University (B.A. International Relations) and Syracuse University College of Law (Justinian Honor Society).  Ms. Calhoun is admitted to practice before all New York State courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of New York.

Ms. Calhoun has experience in defending matters involving premises liability, municipal claims, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice claims, general liability claims and commercial law. Ms. Calhoun also represents individuals and entities being sued by Bankers Healthcare Group, LLC.

Ms. Calhoun is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association and Central New York Women’s Bar Association.  She is also a member of Defense Research Institute’s Governmental Liability, Insurance Law, Medical Liability and Health Care Law, and Trucking Law committees. Ms. Calhoun serves as the Second Circuit Reporter for DRI’s Governmental Liability Committee.

While at the College of Law, Ms. Calhoun served as a student attorney for the Betty and Michael D. Wohl Veterans Legal Clinic for four semesters. She also served as the Executive Director for Veterans Issues, Support, Initiative, & Outreach Network (VISION), a student organization aimed at serving the veteran population of Syracuse and the surrounding areas. Ms. Calhoun’s prior experience includes an internship with Selborne Chambers, London, U.K.

She lives in Clay, New York with her husband.
