Heather Berry is a Paralegal in the firm's Architecture and Engineering Department. She assists Samuel Vulcano, James Stevens, Jr., Matthew Gumaer and Kevin Van Duser in the defense of toxic tort claims and claims against design professionals. She has been with Sugarman Law Firm since 1996 and a Paralegal with the firm since 2000.

Her responsibilities include administrative support to attorneys, review, organization and summarization of documents, document drafting, legal and other research, and general case management.

Ms. Berry is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University (A.S. Paralegal Studies, magna cum laude, 1998, B.S. Paralegal Studies, magna cum laude, 2000) and the recipient of the West Publishing Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. She is also a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association Paralegal Committee.

She is actively involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York. She is Chair of the 2011 Sugarman Law Firm Wish Ball.  She previously served as Emeritus Chair of the Sugarman Law Firm Wish Ball for 2009 and 2010.

She was an associate board member of the foundation in 2008-2009, Chair of the Sugarmanlaw Law Firm Wish Ball for 2007 and 2008, and was a member of the Wish Ball committee in 2005 and 2006.

Ms. Berry resides in Liverpool with her husband, Larry, and daughter, Alaina.
