Ann Marie Palen is a Paralegal in the firm’s Business/Corporate Law Department and Residential and Commercial Real Estate Department. She assists attorneys Shelby Redmond and Bradley Morien in the purchase and sale of residential and commercial real estate. She also serves as settlement agent to local lenders for refinances and new purchases.
Her responsibilities include handling real estate transactions working alongside other counsel, clients, lenders, real estate brokers and realtors. She prepares all necessary transfer and mortgage documents, reviews title documents, and attends at closing on behalf of clients and/or the lender. She has prior experience in criminal defense, wills & estates, landlord/tenant evictions, collections, small/commercial claims, municipal law and handling DWI’s.
Ms. Palen received her Paralegal certification at LeMoyne College through the National Academy of Paralegal Studies in 1992 and is a notary public. She is a graduate of Cayuga Community College (A.A.S. Criminal Justice, 1989), where she was on the Dean’s List and Who’s Who in America’s Junior Colleges. She is a long standing member of the Onondaga County Bar Association.
Ms. Palen resides in Skaneateles with her husband and son.
