Brian Sutter

Mr. Sutter concentrates on advising and representing architects, engineers, surveyors, attorneys, physicians and other health care providers in the defense of claims brought against them. He has additional experience handling product liability claims, municipal claims, general liability claims, insurance issues, personal injury claims, wrongful death cases and toxic torts.

Daniel Cavarello

Mr. Cavarello is a partner with Sugarman Law Firm, and defends both general and professional liability claims against municipalities, school districts and private entities. These claims involve alleged product and premises defects, negligent supervision and entrustment, automobile liability and construction accidents.

Danielle Fogel

Danielle Mikalajunas Fogel's practice focuses on representing physicians and health care providers as well as defending professional malpractice claims, wrongful death cases and personal injury claims. She is experienced in resolving liability in both jury trials and alternative dispute resolutions, and recently finished her term as president of the Women's Bar Association and remains co-chair of its Judicial Screening Committee.

Jenna Klucsik

Ms. Klucsik has extensive experience handling motions and appeals. She is admitted to practice before all New York State courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Onondaga County Bar Association, and the Central New York Women's Bar Association.

Kathleen Sassani

Ms. Sassani has distinguished herself as a skilled trial lawyer, concentrating in civil litigation, with an emphasis on construction law, products liability, transportation law, legal malpractice and insurance law. In 2014, Sassani & Schenck, P.C., was merged into the Sugarman Law Firm

Kevin Van Duser

Mr. Van Duser has significant courtroom experience and has successfully tried cases throughout New York State. His practice has focused on the defense of professional malpractice claims, commercial and contract claims, wrongful death and traumatic brain injury cases, products liability lawsuits, and labor law claims.

Michael Riehler

Mr. Riehler represents a wide cross-section of clients within the fields of personal injury and accidents, general liability and business litigation. His practice extends into the areas of appeals, mediation, civil rights, discrimination and sexual harassment, disability claims, school claims, premises and product liability, toxic tort litigation, municipal law and trucking.

Paul Mullin

Mr. Mullin handles criminal law, medical malpractice and licensure issues, product liability claims, municipal law, premises liability, toxic torts and wrongful death cases. His expertise covers a multitude of additional matters including personal injury suits and civil rights, and constitutional discrimination claims.

Robert Dwyer

Robert Dwyer has represented seriously injured clients for over 25 years. He has worked closely with insurance companies and has effectively represented clients in a wide range of personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, construction site injuries, work-related accidents, slip and fall accidents, matters of defective and unsafe products (including pharmaceuticals), nursing home negligence, boating accidents and wrongful death claims.

Sam Elbadawi

Mr. Elbadawi has successfully handled hundreds of personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, boating accidents, crane accidents, construction site accidents, dog bites, property defects, defective road design claims, slip-and-fall accidents arising from snow and ice, and accidents caused by defectively designed products.

Samuel Vulcano

Mr. Vulcano has been with the firm since 1979 and serves as Managing Partner. He specializes in the representation of architects, engineers, and surveyors in all claims including defense of claims and contract negotiation and drafting. His expertise also covers construction law, trust and estate related litigation, insurance coverage issues, catastrophic injury cases and a variety of other complex litigation—and has served in both capacities of mediator and arbitrator.

Stephen Davoli

Stephen Davoli has been with Sugarman Law Firm since 2006. He is responsible for representing clients in all areas of civil litigation, specializing in disputes arising from construction projects. Mr. Davoli has represented architects, engineers, and contractors defending claims arising from both professional liability and personal injury. His practice also includes litigating insurance coverage disputes, defending toxic tort claims, commercial and personal general liability claims, and business

Stephen Pesarchick

Mr. Pesarchick focuses his practice is the handling of catastrophic personal injury cases. His experience covers a multitude of civil litigation matters including construction claims; products liability; transportation claims; automobile and motor carrier accidents; train accidents; fire claims; premises liability; municipal claims; toxic torts; and wrongful death cases.

Zachary Mattison

Zachary M. Mattison defends claims against architects, engineers, surveyors, and medical professionals. He has extensive experience in commercial, construction, banking and personal injury litigation matters. Mr. Mattison has successfully handled jury trials for large local and national clients, and both prosecuted and defended personal injury claims involving serious and catastrophic injuries.

Bradley Morien

Mr. Morien worked as a Law Clerk at the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA) before entering private practice in 2014. Bradley operated a general practice law firm as a sole practitioner and of counsel. At the College of Law, Mr. Morien was a member of the Pro Bono Bankruptcy Program and Criminal Defense Clinic.

Brenna Gubala

Brenna C. Gubala, Esq. is an associate in the firm’s Buffalo Office, Ms. Drury is experienced in both state and federal litigation. Her practice areas are labor law, personal injury defense, and medical malpractice defense.

Brittany Murgallis

Brittany Murgallis is a graduate of King's College (B.S. Marketing and Business Administration, magna cum laude), and Syracuse University College of Law (cum laude). Ms. Murgallis is admitted to practice before all New York State courts. At the College of Law, Ms. Murgallis was inducted into the Justinian Honorary Law Society and received the Orange Pro Bono Service Award as well as the CALI Award for Law Practice Management.

Christopher Lattuca

Christopher Lattuca is a graduate of the University of Vermont (B.A. Political Science), and Syracuse University College of Law (cum laude). Mr. Lattuca is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts. Mr. Lattuca has past employment experience working on medical malpractice defense matters.

Jeffrey Narus

Jeffrey Narus is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College (B.S. Accounting, magna cum laude), and Syracuse University College of Law (cum laude). At the College of Law, Mr. Narus was inducted into the Justinian Honorary Law Society and received three CALI Awards in the areas of Property, Federal Income Tax and Professional Responsibility.

Marina Murray

Marina Murray is a graduate of Boston University (B.A. English), and SUNY Buffalo Law School (cum laude). Ms. Murray is admitted to practice before all New York State courts. Ms. Murray interned with the Hon. Eugene M. Fahey, New York State Court of Appeals, reviewing appeals and filings, conducting legal research, preparing reports and etc.

Michael Boisvert

Michael Boisvert is a graduate Syracuse University College of Law, at the College of Law, Mr. Boisvert was inducted into the Justinian Honorary Law Society, was the Executive Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and served as a peer tutor.

Shelby Redmond

Ms. Redmond practices in the firm's Trusts and Estates/Elder Law Department where she provides counsel on estate planning, administration of estates, elder law, Medicaid and claims for disabled individuals.

Alan Goldberg is an esteemed Partner who started with the firm in 1968, and since 1997, has served as Of Counsel.

Donald Schoenwald

Mr. Schoenwald has been practicing law for more than 52 years. A distinguished and longtime member of the firm, he now serves as Of Counsel. He focuses on cases involving negligence.

Heather Berry

Heather Berry is a Paralegal in the firm's Professional Liability Defense Department. She assists Samuel Vulcano, Matthew Gumaer and Stephen Davoli in the defense of claims against design professionals and other complex litigation matters. She has been with Sugarman Law Firm since 1996 and a Paralegal with the firm since 2000.

Jennifer D'Alfonso

Jennifer D'Alfonso is a Paralegal in the firm's Defense Litigation Department. She assists attorneys Paul Mullin, Josh Gillette and Danielle Fogel with defense of personal injury cases.

Jillian Au

Jillian Au is a Legal Secretary in the firm's Defense Litigation Department. She assists attorney Daniel T. Cavarello, in the defense of claims against municipalities, school and fire districts and related entities, as well as cases involving products liability, premises liability, general liability, toxic torts, and personal injury claims.

Katie Corcoran

Katie Corcoran is a Legal Secretary and Receptionist in the firm's Auburn office. She joined Sugarman Law Firm in 2009.

Lisa Gates

Lisa Gates is a Paralegal in the firm's Motions and Appeals Department.

Maria Armstrong

Maria Armstrong is the firm's Office Manager and has been with Sugarman Law Firm since 1985. She manages the firm's accounting and office operations.

Marisa Alessi

Marisa Alessi is a Paralegal in the firm's Plaintiffs' Serious and Catastrophic Personal Injury Department. She assists attorneys Michael Riehler with representation of personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, construction and slip and fall accidents, matters of defective and unsafe products (including pharmaceuticals), nursing home negligence and wrongful death claims. Mary Koloski
